LEARN THE SIGNS OF SUICIDE
Here at Zero Suicide SWFL, we believe zero suicide is possible. It takes a community to recognize the signs to accomplish our goal. By understanding the risk factors and warning signs, we can work together to help prevent suicide. Sometimes all it takes is someone willing to listen and understand when someone they care about needs help.
IF YOU OR SOMEONE YOU KNOW NEEDS HELP.
Most individuals are able to cope and live happy lives with proper intervention. Outpatient therapy and proper medication can be crucial for effective treatment, although, every individual is different.
IF YOU HAVE LOST SOMEONE TO SUICIDE
In an effort to continue to reduce the stigma surrounding suicide, postvention is an important intervention for suicide. Survivors of suicide need to know that their grief is unique and they are not alone.
